On Monday night, House of Blues is opening up its private Foundation Room for a new weekly party called Godspeed. They've already been doing this with the Vegas location, apparently successfully.
No word yet who the Dallas DJs are going to be, but the party starts at 10 p.m. Flyer says the dress code will be enforced.
This isn't the first time that the Foundation room has been opened for a weekly party. Earlier this year, Paul Levatino and B Wells hosted RSVP-only events with rotating DJs. I never managed to make it to one (because, if memory serves, the party was on a Monday night, and I'm always recuperating from the weekend), but I heard good things about it.
Monday nights are tough in this town, so it's kind of a gusty move to start up a new, high-profile event. We'll see what it's like.
